Spiritual Activities

The basis of the whole edifice of the Ramakrishna Math & Mission is in its spiritual existence. Its spiritual existence may be considered as substratum on which the large structure of Mission and its activities is situated. A well-disciplined monastic life adds to keep it up ideally.

The Ashrama Temple with its big hall provides facilities of spiritual practices like meditation and yoga, self reflection and self development. The shrine remains open from morning 4.30 to 11.30 a.m. in the Summar, 5.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. in the Winter and from 4 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. in the Summer, 3.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in the Winter throughout year.

Daily worship, Mangalarati, Vedic and Gita Chanting, Aratrikam, reading from Scriptural text, Bhajans, Ramnam Sankirtan as on every Ekadashi Day are held regularly. The shrine is open to all and Sundry.
