Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama

Balak Sangha (A Centre of Non formal Education)

For removing economic poverty and cultural lag of the surrounding local people the Sevashrama runs a Balak Sangh for 80 Children (Schedule Caste, B.P.L., Child labour etc.).

In the year 2008-2009, 71 children received non-formal education under guidance of 2 teachers. They are provided with one time meal daily, 2 sets of uniform including winter cloth, books and stationery as study materials, all free of cost.

A new section called Academic Excellance and Behavioral Development was inaugurated on 30th March, 2008 by Sri D.N. Gotam, I.P.S, A.D.G.P, Patna.






There is a lot of scope for its development.

The Balak Sangh proposes to provide the following facilities to the poor children -

i. Children Library
ii. Facilitate Formal Education upto class X / XII
iii. Scholarship and Award as motivation for higher education
iv. Computer Awareness
v. Vocational Training after class X
